Voice Of Youth Project is affectionately called by its abbreviation as “VOY” Project because its pronunciation means “outcry” in Thai. The term denotes recognition of youth power that their opinions matter and their participation in community development can, in their own ways, bring about changes.
VOY Project
is committed to promote youth participation in the sustainable development process. The project is managed and executed by Voluntary Service Overseas in cooperation with our partners - Why I Why Foundation (YIY) and Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies, Thammasat University (PSDS). Also accompanying us along this journey are 10 youth groups and civil society organizations in eight provinces.
The project is funded by European Union or generally known as the EU who recognizes the importance of the contribution of civil society organizations, especially youth groups, to communities and society’s development and changes. VOY’s three-year project period already started in 2020 and will end in 2022.
